Loimer
“Lois” Gruner Veltliner 2007 . . . . . 10.99
88/100 - Our score.
You can’t get much fresher than this wine - even the label looks like Spring! It’s time for all the Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc drinkers out there to check out Gruner Veltliner. Clean, tangy, dry and fresh. (Austria)

Camaraderie Cellars
“Trinquer” 2005 . . . . . 14.99
88-89/100 - Our score.
What a tasty blend. 40% Semillon, 40% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Viognier. It showcases all the attributes of the various varietals: the lanolin of the Semillon, the flowery elements of the Viognier and the citric zest of Sauvignon Blanc. Rich, creamy and smooth in the mouth with flavors of citrus and peach, it’s a good drinker on its own but even better with (sea)food. Trinquer (pronounced trank-ay) means to clink glasses in French. (Washington)

Elk Cove
Willamette Valley Pinot Gris 2007 . . . . . 15.99
90-91/100 - Our score.
Chardonnay still reigns supreme in the white wine stakes, but now faces a new contender, Oregon Pinot Gris. Pinot Gris still makes for a pleasant alternative, offering much of the body and depth one might look for in Chardonnay, but without the flavor of wood. The Elk Cove is 100% stainless steel fermented, with aromas of apple, peach and spice. Rich and pure on the palate with corresponding flavors of apple, pear and melon, it finishes with delicious mouth-watering acidity. An outstanding wine. (Oregon)
